Sprott Asset Management Plans Public Offering (Correct)
Sprott Asset Management Inc., the
money director tally by Canadian investor , is planning
an initial populace offering to raise about C$200 million ($198
million), the Earth and Mail reported.
The offering could begin as soon as this hebdomad and would value
the company at as much as C$1.5 billion, the newspaper said,
citing unidentified investing bankers.
Sprott, 63, have about three-quarters of the company, which
manages about C$6 billion for institutional and individual
clients, the Earth said. His share of the house would fall to 67
percent through the IPO.
